The customer put forward her ideas of having a Germanic style kitchen in contemporary colours with bold accents and AEG appliances.
We decided to keep the unit colours relatively minimal to be able to add bold accents. I staggered the island to follow the contour of the room, seperating the seating area from the cooking area which created a linear flow between the runs and the island. We decided on an urban style accent for the kitchen and we achieved this by using Dekton Orix. This was used to create the island seating section which is purposefully placed in front of the bi-fold doors to be able to take in the views of the garden. The two central, tall appliance housings have concrete style doors to subtly carry the urban accent into the main part of the kitchen too.
The customer wanted an inbuilt coffee machine but there weren’t enough tall units to comply. We therefore thought outside the box and came up with the idea of a coffee station with built in AEG coffee machine. The appliance is framed with mirrored glass to add a unique touch and the same gloss units used in rest of the kitchen for consistency.
The slim and sleek design of AEG induction hobs allows you to choose even the most contemporary of worktops without compromise.
