Kitchen and Utility Relocation
Initially having an isolated kitchen and living space, this client’s foremost request was to integrate the kitchen in with every aspect of their home life. The concept was created to ensure the kitchen and dining areas would be connected, seamless and in the heart of their home. The brief entailed accommodating a young, busy family of four who’s aim was to create an elegant, yet practical classic kitchen, complete with ergonomically positioned appliances that would fit in with their lifestyle.
Tall AEG Larder fridge with optimum storage and tall AEG no frost Larder freezer with touch control panel hidden within the meticulously planned shaker smooth painted deep blue doors surround the Glistening white quartz worktops, illuminate their AEG Gas hob and beautifully integrated extractor. With the sink positioned central to the island, the AEG Comfort lift dishwasher was destined to be placed here, close to the crockery area with the glazed dresser and large drawers. With one upward pull motion all items in the dishwasher are within touching distance to easily unload and store.
With bench seating close to the ovens, it’s easy to keep the children’s attention with delicious smells flooding the new living space, eagle eyes watching cakes rising in the oven, with clear colour LCD displays and no worry of having to clean the oven with pyrolytic functions. Having a connected cooking space with not only storage, island preparation areas and a dining table within easy reach affords an area to sit and enjoy what has just been created.
Lastly and certainly not least, the utility features the AEG Tumble Dryer and Washing machine with stacking kit to assist with juggling laundry baskets; a necessary and simple solution to save space and to ensure everything has its place.
The result is an impressive, timeless kitchen that feels like home every time they walk in.
The award-winning ComfortLift® dishwasher is the first of its kind in the world to gently slide the lower basket up for easy, ergonomic loading and unloading.
